
Indian Scouts such as this bike were a very common sight in Australia during the roaring 20's. Roger from Canberra bought his 1925 37" cubic inch (600cc) Scout to Parker Indian for a total restoration.To improve perfomance and reliability a later Indian Scout Linkert carburetor has been installed in place of the original Schebler carburetor. This model still incorporates a manually operated total loss oiling system. The oil pump is operated via the hand pump mechanism on the tank.

This 1000cc Vintage Chief was sold new in Australia. During the mid 1920s Indian manafactured both 1000cc and 1200cc Chiefs. It was restored at Parker Indian for the grandson of the original owner.

Sold brand new in Melbourne, when Frank purchased this 1947 Chief in 1963 it was in boxes. In 2009, it was resurrected after undergoing a total restoration. Modifications include the upgrading of the motor with 80" flywheels, bonville cams and followers, 12 volt electrical system and a 4 speed overdrive gear box.

This big base sports scout has been built using surviving components of legendary Indian Factory racer Clem Murdaugh's bike. The crankcases on this bike were designed by Clem and were used as the basis for the development of the big base sports scout series. The crankcases, tanks and front guard are original parts from the bike Clem campaigned at races in the 1940s.

This early 1929 101 Scout was sold new in Australia and underwent a total restoration at Parker Indian. Its has a 45" cubic inch engine (750cc), cylinders and other components have been nickel plated as per original specification.
